North Scott Little League Baseball |
Online registration for the 2021 North Scott Little League baseball season is now open. The deadline for registration is February 3 for those players (Ages 8 to 12) that need to attend assessments. For kids aged 9-12, we have a mandatory skills assessment day that will take place on Sunday February 7, 2020 in the North Scott Junior High gym. Mark your calendars now! For those that can't make your child's designated time, you can bring them to one that works as we would like to assess as many kids as possible.
All kids wanting to be considered for the upper three divisions (Majors, AAA, and AA) will need to attend assessments. The registration deadline for Coach Pitch and Instructional age groups is April 1.
12 year olds: 12:30pm to 1:30pm
11 year olds: 1:45pm to 2:45pm
10 year olds: 3:00pm to 4:30pm
9 year olds: 4:45pm to 6:15pm
8 year olds can also be assessed and need to come to the 9 year old time slot. NSLL will be adhering to the North Scott School Districts COVID protocols for indoor athletic activities for assessments which many of you already know from participating in wrestling and basketball. The North Scott Little League has 5 different divisions and are listed below. Teams in the top three divisions are formed from a common draft. All divisions finish league play by the end of June. Upper Three Divisions - League play starts in early April (maximum 18 game season) (Ages listed below are a general breakdown. From year to year, there are some exceptions that the board discusses on a case by case situation)
Majors - 12, 11, and 10 year olds
AAA - 11, 10 and 9 year olds
AA - 10, 9, and 8 year olds Lower Two Divisions - League play starts first week of May (maximum 12 game season)
Coach Pitch - 8, 7 and 6 year olds - Provides a more competitive experience where more detailed baseball concepts are taught
Instructional - 6 and 7 year olds - this division is meant to serve as a bridge between tee ball and Coach Pitch

North Scott Youth Wrestling |
Wear your mask, socially distance and come sign-up your boys &/or girls! You can also get their singlet for the 20-21 season. All wrestlers must be enrolled in the North Scott School District. Ages Kindergarten through 8th grade only. Cost is $60. Cash or check only.
Registration will be 10/21/20 from 6-7:30pm at NSHS in the cafeteria.
We are asking only one adult to come to registration. No kids at registration. Please fill out the registration form that is attached prior to coming in order to speed up the registration process.
There will be some changes to practices and wrestling in general this year. Depending on numbers some of our ages may only practice once a week. Additionally, parents will not be allowed in practices this year. More details to come in the future. |

Girl Scouts - Making New Friends Web Series |
The Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois are proud to present, "Making New Friends". This is a four part online series to help boost student's skills in self-confidenence while they learn to focus and thrive in a classroom or a virtual setting. The intended audience is 5 year old girls or girls who will turn 5 during this school year. |

Frosty Four Fun Run/Walk |
Hosted by the Bettendorf Trails Committee, this fun four-mile run/walk will start at Devils Glen Park and will travel to Middle Park Lagoon and back. The run/walk will be held on Saturday, February 28th from 1-3pm, Cost $10 includes thermal mug and Coffee Hound coupon, race is not timed, portion of proceeds goes to Bettendorf Food Bank. |

Palmer Paint & Create - Young Artists |
Get out of the house and get your artist?s smock on! Join Bettendorf Parks & Recreation and Art with Kare for a night of fun, friends, and creativity! Young artists can practice their skills, or pick up some new ones, with step-by-step instruction from Art with Kare?s Karie Rauch! All materials and supplies will be provided, so your young artist just has to bring their creativity! The Palmer Grill will provide a hot dog, chips, and a drink, and the Grill will be open to purchase food and beverages for those parents who choose to stay and watch their Young Artists hard at work! Park View T-Ball |

Scott County Little League Softball |
Scott County Little League Softball is for girls ages 4-16 years old that live in Scott County. Registration is currently open for the summer season. Challenger Baseball League |
The Challenger League was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League Baseball to enable boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities, ages 5-on up (we do not enforce an upper age limit or the completion of high school), to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide.
The Davenport Challenger League was established in 1990.
In 2019 a Miracle Field was built for the Quad Cities. The rubberized ball diamond will allow more special athletes to participate in the Challenger League and other related sports. Please see their linked site for more information. |
