FAQ - Is Peachjar another app that parents have to download?

No, Peachjar is not an app. Your parent account has already been created if you have a child registered in a North Scott School and you are already enrolled to receive the Peachjar flyer communications for your child's school.

When do I use Peachjar?

1. When a community organization has information that needs to be shared with caregivers for invitation or registration and is requiring your assistance. It is Free!

2. When an in-district event require sign ups or more information from caregiver and parents about their students. (For example boys basketball signup).

3. Use Peachjar in place of paper flyers that usually go home in backpacks and get lost.

4. If you have a PDF - to distribute

Who should use Peachjar?

Any community organization that would like to include North Scott School District Students in their invitations. (YMCA, Churches, Dance Classes, Libraries, Clubs, etc.)

When can I expect my next Peachjar communication?

The digital backpack is sent once a week - every Thursday afternoon

How long will an organizations flyer stay in Peachjar?

4 one-week cycles unless there is a deadline or event date on the flyer. You can schedule it to expire on that deadline/event date when it is being posted.

Who will see the flyer?

Peachjar allows the organization to specify age level and building specifics. (For example, elementary school students from 3-5 grade)

Have a flyer to post and no peachjar access?

Please follow these Steps:

Create a Peachjar Account:
- Visit www.peachjar.com and sign up as a 'Community Organization'.
- Follow the prompts to complete the registration process.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided during account creation.
Inform the School District:
- Once your Peachjar account is created, email michelle.skadal@north-scott.k12.ia.us
- Share the email address used to register the Peachjar account.
Wait for Promo Code Email:
- After informing the school district of the Peachjar account creation, wait for Peachjar to send an email.
- Peachjar will send an email containing the FREE Promo Code connected to your organization's account.

Important Notes:

Ensure that the Peachjar account information provided to the school district is accurate.
Prompt communication with the school district expedites the process of receiving the FREE Promo Code.
Keep an eye on your email inbox for correspondence from Peachjar regarding the FREE Promo Code.
