Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, & Kindergarten Information 2026-27

Information Night: 4-Year-Old Preschool, 5-Year-Old PreK, & Kindergarten

Registration for incoming 4 & 5-year-old students opens on Sunday, Feb. 1. for the 2026-2027 school year. Caregivers unable to attend the February 25th event or who are already aware of our program offerings are still required to register their child(ren).

• Follow this link to select 4-Year-Old Preschool preferences. You will be contacted about completing registration based on your preferences.
• 5-Year-Old PreK or Kindergarten Registration
  • If you have an Infinite Campus account:
    • Follow this link to log-in to the Parent Portal
    • Select "More" at the bottom of the dark menu on the left
    • Select "Online Registration" at the bottom of the menu

    • Note: there are two sections on this page: Existing Student Registration & New Student Registration - be sure to click “Start” in the correct section (If there is a sibling already in attendance in the NS district, please click: Existing Student Registration)

    • Once you verify that you're in the correct section, click the "Start" button next to "26-27 Student Registration"

25-26 Registration

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year opened on May 1, 2025. Instructions are below.

If you already have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, please follow the steps below to complete the registration process:

1. Follow this link to log in to the Parent Portal
2. Select "More" at the bottom of the dark menu on the left
3. Select "Online Registration" at the bottom of the menu
4. Note: there are two sections on this page: Existing Student Registration & New Student Registration - be sure to click “Start” in the correct section
5. Once you verify that you're in the correct section, click the "Start" button next to "25-26 Student Registration"

If you do not have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, please follow this link to register your student(s) and have an account created.

26-27 Registration

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens on May 1, 2026. Instructions are below.

Note: While registration is open in May and June, fees will not appear in your account until July 1, 2026.

Open Enrollment Students

Iowa Open Enrollment law allows parents/guardians to enroll their child into a school district other than the district they reside in. Open enrolling your student(s) in North Scott is a multi-step process. First, an open enrollment application must be submitted for each individual student you wish to enroll.

If that application is approved, follow this link to Infinite Campus Online Registration (OLR) to complete the enrollment process.
