Here are instructions on how you can access your child's report card:

  • Log into Power School
  • Enter your username and password. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, please e-mail or call your building secretary.
  • Once in Power School, the first screen is Grades and Attendance.
  • THIS IS NOT WHERE YOU WILL FIND YOUR CHILD’S REPORT CARD.
  • Scroll down the left hand column to Document Vault, and click on it.
  • This will open a page with the heading Additional Features. Then click on the download button for Standards Report Card.
    • Note: If you have multiple students, you will see all the names listed at the top of the page. You will need to click on each child’s name to see their report card. 

Here are instructions on how you can access student accounts:

PowerParent

  • Username: 
  • Password: Set by parent upon initial login, or email powerparent@north-scott.k12.ia.us to reset

InTouch (pay fines, fees, lunch, etc.)

  • Username: Student ID number
  • Password: Student’s last name (capitalize first letter) 

Total Access (check lunch balances)

  • Username: Student ID number
  • Password: Student ID number

When should students arrive at school?

Anytime between 7:50 - 8:10

When does the school day end?

3:05

If a student arrives before 8:00 am, where should they go?

Please wait in the lobby

Where should I drop off my child if I am bringing them to school?

Please drop them off in front of the building. They can enter the front lobby

What if my child will be absent from school?

Please call the Nurse’s office: 563-285-3116

Do I need to stop in the office when visiting during the school day?

Yes, please come through the main office and check in.

What if I need to get my child out of school early?

Please call the office or send a note with your child.

What if I need to make alternate arrangements for my child at the end of the day?

Please call the office or send a note with your child.

If my child needs to use the phone during the day, is there one available?

They can use the classroom phone or come to the office if the number is long distance.

Can I eat lunch with my child?

Yes! Please join us! If you want to eat a school lunch, please call the office by 9 AM.

Can my child bring birthday treats to school?

Yes. Please double check our safe snack list - our nurse also checks all snacks in the office.

Where is the Lost and Found?

It is located in our main lobby.

Are there rules for bringing electronic devices to school?

Yes,electronic devices are to be turned off upon entering the building in the morning.They are turned into teachers during the day and are not to be turned on until exiting the building at 3:05.

Your child is responsible for all devices.

What is "PCL"?

PCL means Partnership in Comprehensive Literacy. It is the model we use as a district for literacy instruction.

Can my child bring pop for lunch?

No, please do not send pop with your child.

What are you determinations for when it’s too cold to go outside?

If it’s 10 degrees or higher, grades 2-6 go outside. If it’s 0 degrees or lower, everyone stays inside. We do take wind chill into consideration when making these decisions.
