On behalf of the North Scott Community School District, sealed bids will be received at the North Scott Community School District Administration Office, 251 East Iowa Street, Eldridge, IA 52748, until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 18, 2024.

The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals to install new cameras in our new additions and buildings throughout the North Scott Community School District (The District). General information about the District can be found on the District's website at http://www.north-scott.k12.ia.us The district is adding to its fleet of cameras to provide additional coverage of its properties internal and external for security and safety, this is an extension of an existing system. This project is directed, in part, by our SLFRF School Safety Improvement Grant.

North Scott Community School District - Solar Projects (06/06/2024)
On behalf of the North Scott Community School District, sealed bids will be received at North Scott Community School District Administration Office, 251 East Iowa Street, Eldridge, IA 52748, until 2:00 p.m. local time on June 6, 2024.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at approximately 2:01 p.m. local time on June 6, 2024 at the North Scott Community School District Administration Building, 251 East Iowa Street, Eldridge, IA 52748.
Award of Contract is will commence on June 17, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the North Scott Community School District Administration Building, 251 East Iowa Street, Eldridge, IA 52748.
Each bidder submitting a formal bid shall accompany the bid with a Bid Security, in a separate envelope, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of the contract corporate surety bond or bonds, acceptable to the Owner, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equivalent to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract.
The bidder's security shall be five (5%) percent of the bid amount, and shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check drawn on a bank in Iowa or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America, or a certified bank share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States of America or a bid bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner.
All bids shall be governed by applicable provisions in the Iowa Code and School Board Policies.
It is the intent of the Owner to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications, provided the bid has been submitted in accordance with the bidding requirements.
The Owner further reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, and to waive any informalities or irregular-ities and enter into such contracts or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interest of North Scott Community School District.

North Scott High School - Track Resurfacing (04/17/2024 before 2 PM)
The project consists of the resurfacing of the High School athletic track including, but not necessarily limited to, track surfacing repair, resilient resurfacing, lane lines and events markings including all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the project.
Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read at the North Scott CSD Administration Office at 2:00 P.M. CST on April 17 , 2024, or at such later time and place as may then be fixed. The Board of Education will meet in the Junior High on the 22 day of April at 6:30 p.m., or at such time and place as may then be fixed, for action upon bids received in accordance with the law and specifications.
Bidding documents may be examined and/or obtained for bidding purposes during normal business hours
at the Administration office.

District - E-Rate - Batteries and New UPS Units 2024 (03/13/2024)
The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals to replace aging batteries in our district battery backups and purchase new battery backup UPS units for our new additions and buildings throughout the North Scott Community School District (The District). General information about the District can be found on the District's website at http://www.north-scott.k12.ia.us The district is upgrading existing network closets and outfitting new additions with technology to support education in those spaces. This project will be directed, in part, by our E-rate funding.

The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit from vendors proposals to purchase network equipment for our school buildings in the North Scott Community School District (The District). General information about the District can be found on the District's website at http://www.north-scott.k12.ia.us The district is purchasing networking equipment for upcoming summer projects and outfitting new additions with technology to support education in those spaces. This project will be directed, in part, by our E-rate funding.

District - E-Rate - ISP 2024 (3/14/2024)
The North Scott Community School District (hereafter referred to as NSCSD) seeks a Request of Proposal (RFP) for Internet Services Provider (ISP services) including secondary DNS, for a one (1) year period beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025.
Currently, NSCSD receives internet services through MBAEA Internet Consortium. MBAEA Consortium has one year remaining on the contract with IP Pathways, which includes basic bundled firewall services. As part of this internet service, IP Pathways provides NSCSD with 30 of publicly routable IP addresses.
Given the current legislative environment and uncertainty moving forward on the remaining one-year of the five-year consortium contract, NSCSD is seeking new bids on bundled internet access.
This service is to be delivered to the hub of the district's network at 200 S. 1st Street, Eldridge, IA 52748. NSCSD seeks bids for Internet at the following capacities: 1 GBPS.
Interested vendors should also provide the following information in their bids:

Indicate the type of connectivity (e.g. fiber, coaxial, microwave, etc.)

Identify any E-Rate ineligible charges (such as DDoS)

Indicate the $ amount of any applicable taxes and fees (not just a statement that taxes and fees are separate)

Bidders must be willing to provide E-Rate discounted billing and to include this statement in the proposal.
District reserves the right to cancel this request for bids and to reject all related proposals.
Proposals must state all recurring and non-recurring costs for NSCSD associated with the proposed ISP service.
The objective of this RFP is to accomplish a fair, open and competitive procurement.
