LancerPride Awards
The Employee Recognition Committee of the North Scott Community School District was established in April 2022 to cultivate a district-wide culture of gratitude and community pride. Originally spearheaded by founding members J. Dittmer, T. Lindaman, Carrie Lane, Nate Noel, and K. Hoyt, the committee designed a comprehensive recognition model—encompassing monthly operational group recognitions and individual #LancerPride Awards—which was presented to Superintendent Joe Stutting in July 2022.
Over the years, the committee's membership has smoothly evolved while preserving its founding vision. Following the departure of K. Hoyt in May 2024, Michelle Skadal joined the committee in June 2024. Further transitions occurred in the summer of 2026 upon the retirement of founding member Carrie Lane, who was succeeded by Ed White Elementary Principal Stephanie Fahrenkrog, and the departure of Nate Noel, who was succeeded by Derek Hamilton. Throughout these membership changes, the Employee Recognition Committee has continued to evaluate nominations, coordinate board meeting presentations, and ensure staff members across all roles and departments are celebrated for going above and beyond.
