We encourage any family who may be experiencing financial difficulty or who meets the federal income guidelines to apply. This includes families who have lost a job, experienced a decrease in household income, or are receiving SNAP/FIP benefits.

No.  Please use one single application for all the students in your household.  We cannot approve an application that is incomplete, so be sure to list every student that is attending school in the district.  

Yes!  This information that you share about your household is used strictly to determine eligibility for meal benefits.  Your child's meal status (Free, Reduced, or Paid) is kept private and is not visible to other students or staff in the cafeteria.  

To make the application process go quickly, please have the following information ready:  

• The names of all household members
• The last four digits of the primary income earner's Social Security Number 
• Total household gross income (before taxes) and how often it is received. 
• If applicable - your SNAP or FIP case number. 

Once submitted, applications are typically processed within 10 business days.  You should receive an automated email form the district once a determination has been made.  

You can apply any time during the school year.  If your household income decreases or your household size increases, you are encouraged to submit a new Free & Reduced Meals application.  

Yes!  We recommend using the form in Infinite Campus.  When you first log in make sure that your language settings in the User Menu are changed to your preferred language.  Spanish instructions for application are available here.
