The mission of the North Scott Community School District, a unique blend of rural and metropolitan opportunities, is to produce graduates with the capacity to be successful in a changing world, by incorporating abundant resources and offering a broad-based curriculum in a respectful, safe environment.
The North Scott Community School District has been built on a strong foundation of community support. We are proud of our active PTA/PTO programs throughout our 5 elementary schools as well as our athletic and activity boosters at the junior high and high school. Our students, teachers, administrators, and coaches have the support and backing of our entire community. We foster this relationship by giving back. Nearly 80% of our students participate in community service activities.
Small Town Feel with Big Advantages
Our district encompasses small towns, suburban neighborhoods and rural farms—all within a few miles of museums, shopping, theatres, entertainment, and more. There's something for everyone in North Scott!
